What happened next......
By the time i had arrived at my new home i had a very bad case of ear mites and my skin was in a terrible condition. I was really skinny and my bones stuck out.

My Family
I now live with Lisa, her mum, dad and sister jeanette and of course Shadow who is my best friend.

I was very frightened when i came to my new home, my new owner was very kind and i stayed close by her side. I was then introduced to their other family pet, Shadow a 5 year old Border Collie dog.

Life at my new home...
I follow Lisa everywhere, even to the toilet, or when she has a shower i wait in the bathroom by the heater where its warm. I share my arm chair with her if im watching the T.V and i let her share my bed - with a lovely warm duvet and soft pillow!!

Lisa feeds me, baths me and takes me everywhere with her - i love taking her out in my flash red car, she drives me around everywhere!!

Sometimes when Lisa is at work, i stay at home with Shadow and play 'chase' in the garden. I'm kept busy all day long guarding our territory from intruders, infact i growl and bark at anyone who dares walk past our hedge at the bottom of our garden!! It's great fun scaring small children and old ladies!!

I was given lots of presents when i came to live here. My old pyjamas were washed and Lisa bought me a new jumper and rain coat!!!
I was given a new collar and lead and posh new name tag - Lisa changed my name to AlfEE because she felt that Alf was more of a boys name. Most people laugh at my name and usually think i am a boy dog!!!

My new name was engraved on to a a pink heart shaped tag - and so i became Alfee!!

Life as Alfee!!
Lisa took me to the vets and i was vaccinated and wormed and injected with something to stop my itching skin.
I didn't like this at all but i kept still and didn't make a sound. The Vet thought i had mange and Lisa had to explain that i was a 'Hairless' dog and was meant to look as i am!

I have enclosed a picture of a beautiful show quality Chinese Crested.

This is a lady dog called Carisma. Isn't she beautiful!!
